Kinesiology Taping

Sports massage, although initially developed for athletes, can be hugely  beneficial to anyone suffering from everyday aches and pains.

Have you sustained a sporting injury, or perhaps your injury is  lifestyle-related and your back aches from sitting at a desk all day?

A  sports massage would be the perfect way to treat your injury, and  prevent it from happening again.

Kinesiology Taping after Myofascial Cupping Therapy

Kinesiology Taping

I use a premium kinesiology tape that features a tighter weave, greater elasticity and stronger adhesive than other kinesiology tapes.

A tighter weave means enhanced support for working muscles and joints. Extra elasticity promotes "snap back," helping muscles contract and relax more efficiently.

The tape is designed to de-load the skin allowing for a great blood supply and neuro-muscular connection.

Therapies offered

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body.

This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage

The concept of movement therapy and performance enhancement via Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM), in essence using tools to help me do the job.

The tools may be hard-edged, but the techniques aren’t aggressive but do deliver superior patient outcomes.

RockPods

This unique set of silicone pods allows me to grab, pull and push fascia to treat pain, mobility and movement dysfunctions.

Myofascial Cupping has been around since the early 19th century – only recently has the image of purple circles on professional athlete’s backs created attention to an ancient myofascial therapy.

The cups and techniques have changed over time, but the basic premise of the cups providing suction to decompress the underlying tissue remains the same.
